The New Facebook Profile
I am pretty defiant when it comes to changes to Facebook. I had a hard time accepting the changes to something that I use multiple times a day, multiple times an hour when I don’t see the justification for the change. Regardless, they recently made a significant change to the Profile Pages. There has been a recent “movement” towards using the new Facebook profile layout to one’s advantage. The Difference Between Twitter & Facebook
When asked about the difference between Twitter and Facebook, I usually reply “Facebook is for the people you knew in high school, and Twitter is for the people you wish you knew in high school.” Well, @shaylamaddox had a slightly different way of putting that, which was then turned into an illustration by Kiersten (although I can’t find the link to the original, she has some cool stuff on her blog).

Who is using which sites? This infographic from Flowtown breaks it down nicely. One thing that surprises me is how few 18-24 year olds are using LinkedIn, but perhaps that’s just relative to the amount of other folks using it.

The Hierarchy of Digital Distractions
An interesting depiction of the hierarchy of the distractions we face in our lives everyday. I’m sure they will differ for each person, but a lot of these are spot on for me. If only I had an iPhone, then all of the other distractions in my life would start to fade into the background…
