Michael Drowne Drafted in 28th Round by L.A. Dodgers

Posted in My Rambles by kmtom on June 10, 2010

Great news this week! My little cousin, Mikey Drowne, was drafted by the L.A. Dodgers. I haven’t heard for sure if he’s accepted yet, but I hope things work out for him! They wanted him on a plane to Arizona – like – yesterday. UPDATE 9:08 AM: He did sign with them!  He’s going to Glendale, AZ for a few weeks and then he’ll be off to Ogden, UT to hopefully play for the Ogden Raptors!  Check out the view from homeplate at Lindquist Field:

Good for Mike! Is he going to keep playing for Bristol Collegiate in the meantime?

Nope, he’s shipping out soon to go to a mini camp with the Dodgers.
